I am focusing on... patience, humility and self-control. Well, it is crazy challenging. But it's Jesus otherwise I would be throwing things at those idiots' heads by now. :)
I thought you would chuckle at my story. You see it all got kinda cloudy today. I did really well at keeping my mouth shut and take the humble route! woohoo. BUT then I had pride about loosing my pride. Yep, I definitely thought, "great Job Chelle. You have so much more self-control than person X. You are the humble person in this relationship. Maybe they will learn from my selfless example". I wish I was kidding. So did I overcome the pride or just transfer it? Does transfer growth count for anything? :)
So, here is my newest revelation... patience and self-control come from humility and a lack of them is one root... pride. Why do you loose your patience? --pride Why do you loose self-control? -- pride

I'm totally with you on this one Chelle. If it were easy we'd all be there. Even then we'd probably STILL compare ourselves to each other...

Chelle can i tell you something? you are doing an amazing job. I give you megga points for the times that you keep your mouth shut when you just want to do anything but keep silent. there are ways to justify a lot of things but you are past that. your words are simply wise and kind.
